Anticipates More than 200,000 to be added starting in the First Quarter 2008 as eRx Network Comes on Line
Vemics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:VMCI), a leading provider of hosted, real-time learning and productivity portals, today announced that as of December 10, 2007, there are more than 32,000 registrations for its iMedicor HIPAA compliant EHR (Electronic Health Record) transport network. The company also said that it anticipates as many as 200,000 users coming on board in 2008 as participants in its recently announced eRx Network Alliance begin to register and use its services to transport prescription refill requests. iMedicor greatly simplifies the refill request process and gives physicians a powerful means to exchange personal health information with other physicians, healthcare professionals and patients.
The site is designed to grow virally as physicians begin to create communities, expand their referral network and collaborate with their peers. The key attribute of the site remains the ability to transfer electronic medical records and images in a HIPAA compliant environment. In addition, physicians are rapidly discovering the access to Continuing Medical Education programs available through iMedicor and soon, product specific programs from Pharmaceutical companies and medical device companies will not only be available but represent a more efficient way to reach this audience.
