Meaningful Use Consulting Services

After assisting hundreds of medical practices in the State of New Jersey, New York and Virginia attain Meaningful Use compliance via the Federally-funded HITEC program – and rapidly collect their first year of Federal EHR Incentive Payments - iMedicor is now expanding these services to Physicians and Dentists nationwide.

iMedicor’s Meaningful Use Consulting services will cover all processes involved in helping doctors upgrade from paper to electronic patients records, including helping these practitioners select the most appropriate ONC-certified EHR system, attain Meaningful Use compliance, and receive the subsequent incentive payments from the Federal Government.

Those doctors with a minimum of 30% of their treated patients under Medicaid or up to $24,000 in Medicare billings can qualify to receive Federal Incentive Payments, which totals up to $63,750 over six years under Medicaid and up to $39,000 over five years under Medicare.

The iMedicor Meaningful Use Consulting program includes three stages:
1. Guiding qualifying practitioners through the Federal EHR registration process. This process requires the conversion from paper patient records to an EHR system within 12 months. During this period, iMedicor will conduct a kickoff meeting with the practice, assess the technical infrastructure and qualifications of the practice as relates to satisfying Meaningful Use guidelines, identify the specific steps required for the practice to become Meaningful Use Compliant, compute an estimated reimbursement amount available under Meaningful Use Guidelines, and help guide the practice through the registration process with the Centers For Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as well as with State Medicaid centers.
2. If needed, help practitioners select an ONC-certified EHR solution. This includes unbiased recommendations of several EHR systems that best fit the needs of the practice. If requested, iMedicor will also assist in negotiating the best pricing of the EHR system.
3. Assisting these practitioners in the final Meaningful Use attestation phase that results in the release of the Federal EHR Incentive Payments. This includes helping the Provider/Practice complete the online Attestation Process for first year Adoption (Medicaid) or helping complete the 90-day or full year Meaningful Use Online Attestation Reporting Requirement for that year with either CMS or State Medicaid, iMedicor will repeat all of the relevant above steps necessary to help the Provider/Practice during the remaining 4 or 6 years of the practice’s eligibility.

Federal Incentive funds for Meaningful Use compliance will be released according to the following schedule: (Practitioners who do not adopt an EHR system by 2015 will be penalized with percentage decreases in Medicare reimbursements rates.)

Meaning Use Consulting Fees

For all of the above services, iMedicor charges a medical or dental practice an upfront fee of $2,500 per provider, plus a success fee based on the total amount of incentive funds received by the provider or practice.
