Physicians' Alliance of America
Physicians' Alliance of America, a non-profit group purchasing organization, was founded in 1992 by a handful of physicians worried about the rising costs of operating a practice. The stated mission of Physicians' Alliance is to help our member practices improve their bottom lines, and by providing preferred pricing and terms on a full range of goods and services practices use every day, we do just that. Our thousands of member physicians collectively save millions of dollars every year thanks to their PAA membership.
On January 1, 2009, we implemented our vaccines rebate program. With this program, member practices have the opportunity to earn rebates from PAA by purchasing vaccines through our contracts. Members reaching preset net sales figures are eligible to receive these rebates. These are in addition to, and totally separate from, any manufacturer rebates.
Non-Profit Group Purchasing Organization
Physicians' Alliance was founded by physicians for physicians. To this day we are the only non-profit group purchasing organization still run by a Board composed entirely of practicing physicians. Our Board members face the very same challenges our members do.
Thank you for your interest in Physicians' Alliance. Please remember that membership in Physicians' Alliance is FREE and participation is voluntary. Our members choose which of our valuable agreements they want to access. We recommend all of them as each one has value, but it is left to the member to decide which agreements they want to use.
If you’d like to get started on saving your practice money, please go to www.physiciansalliance.com, click on the "Join Today" link and complete the short, secure form. It will be emailed to us and we will quickly get to you the information you need to take full advantage of our agreements.
Some of the largest professional liability companies in the US converged to create an informational program to help their insured clients better understand the maze of information on the requirements for EMRs, as well as to be advocates - specifically as it relates to Medical Risk Management and Patient Safety.
These Companies have long-standing and trusted relationships with their 20,000+ partner physicians; and, since they launched this information program, the physicians have communicated back to them that they are overwhelmed and ill-equipped to handle the adoption of an EHR.
These Companies determined that they needed to offer more.
PriMedx Solutions, LLC was formed to make resources available to its insured doctors that they do not have on their own. PriMedx has been able to leverage its client base to offer robust and certified systems at a lower cost.
PriMedx is headquartered in New York and has offices in New Jersey and Florida.
Mission of PriMedx Solutions
To distribute unbiased information on Health Information technology and to offer an interoperable EHR system combined with a suite of related and integrated products that meet the requirements of “Meaningful Use” and help physicians to integrate the entire back-office with the clinical process. PriMedx Solutions seeks to ease the adoption of the EHR process for healthcare providers.
